I am still in a euphoric state after the Super Bowl. I had a milly sweat going into the last possession of the game that hinged on a Hopkins TD that ended up in Kupp’s hands after he was concussed but somehow allowed to stay in the game. The eye in the sky turned their back when Cash God needed them the most.
I am now entering the waters of DFS golf, which is a great NFL offseason sweat-fest. I’ll get right into my plays.
I’ll start with my favorite plays in the $10k+ range. It’s Uncle Justin time. He is one of the best plays in the field and the iron has been hot lately. I will let it be known that I’m doing a complete fade on Rahm. He’s going to be the chalk guzzler of the week and isn’t worth the extra salary. If he makes me pay, so be it. You can’t win a GPP without taking a few stands.
For the $9k range, I like Cameron Smith and Xander Schauffele. If anyone is fucking due for a tournament win it’s Xander. Also, a local playing in his home state, what more do you need? Cameron Smith, on the other hand, has been a bit less consistent than Xander and took a shit down his own throat *Odell has entered the chat* in Hawaii last time he played. He somehow went from winning a tournament to missing a cut. Having said that he is in a great spot to bounce back and play well this week, especially given his price at $9.1k. Live shot of Smith in Hawaii:
In the $8k range, your eyes likely gravitate towards one name in particular. That name is Talor Gooch. I’m just going to say this now – there will rarely be a week where he isn’t a focal point of my lineups. The other clear play in the 8k range is Sam Burns. He is one of the best values of the entire field.
In the $7k range, your eyes will, again, be drawn to a name. This time it’s Jason Cockrack. I think that one is pretty clear. The beginning of 2022 has been a bit rocky for Cockrack, but he is underpriced as usual and has the talent to win any tournament. The two other plays I like in this range are Joaquin Niemann and Cameron Triangle. Niemann, the shrimply, is being overlooked and is coming off a sixth-place finish in the Pines in late January. The correlation of Cockrack and Sam Burns that no one is thinking about:
A couple of the plays I like in the $6k range are Aaron Wise, Taylor Pendrith, and Kramer Hickock. One, if not all of these three, will win a tournament at some point this year. Who’s to say it’s not this week?
It’s time for the first CGG of the 2022 golf year. Look no further than Patrick Cantlay. He might as well have been born in the clubhouse at Riviera and is playing as well as he ever will right now. If you don’t play him you are playing for second place this weekend. When Patty Ice brings his dick out instead of his club to putt the final shot on 18 in for the win we will all be roaring in unison with the crowd.
I’ll be back next week.

Well CG, interesting to see you pivot to golf. I nearly shit myself when Odell got cooking early in the SB. I had played multiple parlays with him as any anytime scorer and ended up winning 3/5. Only failed the clean sweep due to no Chase TD. Good luck with the golf season.

Thanks, Leonard. I was tilting the Odell injury, but glad he scored prior.
